Dear SSJYSL Families & Players,

We want to take this time to wish all of our players & families a very "HAPPY HOLIDAYS" & Happy New Year. This has definitely been a challenging year for all of us, but we have made it through and are ready for 2021!

We have not received information yet as to if we will be able to have a Spring season, but we do have some Academy (Competitive) and Recreational Camps available for 2021. 

To register for one of our Academy (Competitive) Camps, you will need to sign up for a Membership with SSJYSL. This is a one-time membership fee which costs $50. To become a member of SSJYSL for the Fall 2020-Spring 2021 season, please visit the following link:

SSJYSL ACADEMY/COMPETITIVE MEMBERSHIP

 To register for our next Academy (Competitive) Camp, please visit the following link:

JANUARY ACADEMY CAMP

We have our next Academy session available (1/5-1/28) which will run for 4 weeks (Tuesdays & Thursdays) at O'Malley Field (these will be 80 minute sessions between 5pm-8pm). The cost for this camp will be $245 for the 4 week session (if you register by January 1st - price increases to $265 after Jan 1st). These slots are limited, so please sign up soon. If your child has only played in our Recreational Program and is interested in learning more about our Academy (Competitive) program, you can definitely sign them up for this session and learn more about what we have to offer on the Academy side. We will be having more of our Recreational Camps available in 2021. More info to follow soon. If you have specific questions about our Recreational Program or Camps, please reach out to our Recreational Director: Julio Romo at rec@ssjysl.org.

 *To register for our Recreational Camp, you will need to pay a one-time registration fee of $35, which covers for the insurance under SSJYSL. This fee is only required once for the Fall 2020 season, so if you have already paid this fee for a previous session, you do NOT have to pay it again.

For those players that have a credit from Spring or Fall 2020, those credits have been applied to your TeamSnap account and the funds should be available to apply to both the one-time registration fee or Camp costs. If you have any issues using your credit, please contact our Registrar: Kim Pifer at registrar@ssjysl.com.

I hope you are all staying safe and healthy and all of us on the SSJYSL Board thank you for your support as we are all trying to navigate through these unprecedented times with no play book. It has definitely been a challenge for all of us and we hope to be able to return to an actual season in the near future.

CREDITS/REFUNDS: For all players that signed up for our Spring or Fall Recreational or Competitive season, you have one of the following options to choose from:

    • SSJYSL will offer a credit of the registration payment towards a future season or camp session

                    -Or

    • If a refund is requested in lieu of credit for a future season or camp session, there will be a $20.00 administrative fee deducted from the refund of the registration fee that was paid (please note that any late fee that was paid during the registration process is not included in the registration fee and will not be refunded)

For our Academy players, if you have paid the first installment of your training fees for Spring 2020, you may also choose from one of the options listed above. If you have NOT paid the first installment of your training fees, your Registration fees will be used to cover the training fees.
